Workplace Drug & Alcohol Policy Development is another service offered by Mid-State. We will work very closely with the employer to develop a program that meets specific regulatory standards. We also know many employers are not required to test for Drugs or Alcohol, but elect to do so anyway. Our Staff has experience in assisting unionized and non-unionized employers throughout the country in implementing Drug & Alcohol Testing.
Successful implementation of a policy involves Management and Employee Education. Mid-State will provide educational support services for Management to recognize chemically impaired employees. We will also provide employee education related to substance abuse in the workplace. We feel very strongly that education fosters a better understanding of the risks of substance abuse in the workplace, as well as policy compliance.
