Lia F. Stewart serves Mid-State Occupational Health Services, Inc. as a full time Nurse Practitioner. A Wilkes-Barre native, she attended Luzerne County Community College and received her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Nursing, graduating with high honors.  She began her career as a registered nurse at the Berwick Hospital Center. Over the past few years, she has provided care in the Medical-Surgical wing and the Emergency Department at BHC.

While attending school for her graduate degree, she was a part of Bloomsburg University’s student learning lab and taught undergraduate students in the BSN Nursing program. She graduated Cum Laude with a dual degree from Bloomsburg University.

She received a Master of Science in Nursing and her Nurse Practitioner Certificate. She is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a part of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing.

She works in Mid-State’s Wilkes-Barre and Dickson City offices.
