Carrie B. Friese, MHS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant at Mid-State Occupational Health Services, Inc. Carrie is a graduate of MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she completed her Master of Health Sciences degree and completed her PA studies. Carrie is nationally certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). While in Philadelphia, Carrie participated in a number of community outreach programs, volunteered in soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and free clinics. Carrie has years of experience in occupational medicine, as well as additional experience in pediatrics, family practice, gynecology, and elder care. Carrie has recently played an active role in local wellness programs, providing education to community members about preventable diseases and weight management. Carrie serves as a preceptor to PA students from Lock Haven University and Drexel University. Carrie has supervised Advanced Nursing students from Bloomsburg University and has trained Medical Assistant students. She serves as a Clinical Instructor for both Lock Haven University and Drexel University. Carrie is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants – Occupational Medicine. |
